You can find more information about persons or organization who know about Medicare appeals under "Who Can Help You with Your Appeal."

Federal law permits Medicare managed care enrollees to receive a copy of the appeal case file from either the health plan or Maximus. Select "Obtain a Copy of Your Case File" for more information.

If you have concerns about the quality of the care you received from your health care provider, select "Quality of Care Concerns" for more information. Usually, a quality of care concern is handled separately from an appeal.

"Medicare Links" provides links to several CMS sponsored web sites. These web sites contain helpful information for all Medicare enrollees, including information on long term care facilities (nursing homes) and Medicare managed care plans.
